An initiative to increase trade and deepen relationships between Sweden and the rest of the world, especially in regions with little or none presence or little economic exchange.


Within our sectors we offer a range of activities aimed at different markets and regions, depending on needs and interests of both partners and receiving markets and Governments. 


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a prioritized markets for Sweden, thus the Emirati Swedish Business Council (ESBC) has been formed to further increased trade between the countries.

Launch of the Nordic Sustainability Trade Organization (NSTO)

On November 9th the inauguration of the Nordic Sustainability Trade Organization (NSTO) took place in connection to a seminar organized by NSTO in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates (UAE's) Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden. 
I the event key note speech was held by H.E. Sultan bin Rashid Al Kaitoob, UAE's Ambassador to Sweden, and H.E. Mr. Henrik Landerholm, Sweden's Ambassador to UAE. A presentation on the UAE Economy respectively the Committee for Sweden's Participation at Expo 2020 in Dubai was held as well.

The first main project within NSTO is the Emirati Swedish Business Council, or just in short ESBC.
The ESBC had its first delegation trip from Sweden to UAE in November 2018. Currently additional sectors are doing or planning for additional delegations trips to seek out concrete business opportunities - to learn more please see HERE.

The Nordic Sustainability Trade Organization and The Emirati Swedish Business Council began as an initiative sprung from a project carried out as a feasibility study funded by, among others, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.
